Featured Author Friday (#FAF)

Guess what today is! Anyone???
Today starts what we are calling Featured Author Friday.  Are you asking yourself what Featured Author Friday is?  Featured Author Friday, or #FAF as I will be tagging it on twitter, is a feature we will be posting weekly between now and next summer’s convention in Savannah, GA.  Every Friday we are going to be highlighting two to three of the Featured Authors that will be in attendance in Savannah.  We are going to highlight each of the author’s works, giving the run down on what these talented authors have done already, as well as new & upcoming releases, in addition to where you can find them!  (Unfortunately for you all you will be exposed to my not-always-politically-correct humor that comes free of charge!)
Hopefully thru these posts you will discover some new-to-you authors that you will fall in love with (not the creepy-stalker kind; the good “die-hard-fan” kind) at least that is what I’m shooting for…  I really hope that you all will weigh in with comments, when we post about an author that you are a fan of, and recommend your favorite book by that author to others (and share these posts with your friends~seriously, we are easy~pimp us out!).  For interviews with the authors, follow our twitter, as we will be tweeting the bloggers when they have the authors on their sites as guests; in fact you should follow the bloggers as well~cause they are awesome (and they host lots of giveaways|read: they give free stuff away & everyone loves free!|).
Without further ado our first Featured Author Friday post we present to you MaryJanice Davidson and S&A Price!

Mistress of Ceremonies MaryJanice Davidson
About: MaryJanice aka MJ an amazing author who at several times in her career has ended up on the USA Today and the New York Times lists, and most importantly she happens to be the Mistress of Ceremonies for AAD Savannah next summer.  Prior to writing she was a model and medical test subject… She lives in MN with her family and dogs (as if she wasn’t cool enough; she is a dog person to boot. You can go to any of her sites and see a picture of her with her four-legged kids).
Genre: Paranormal, Young-Adult, Fantasy, Non-Fiction.
Works:
Undead series:  Elizabeth "Betsy" Taylor turns thirty in the most unfortunate manner possible: she is laid off from work and then run down by an SUV. Waking up in the morgue fails to improve her mood, and when she discovers she can't kill herself, she gets downright stroppy. Being proclaimed "Queen of the Vampires" by the obnoxious Eric Sinclair, who places himself first in line to be her consort, proves to be the last straw.
The series starts with Undead and Unwed.
"First Betsy Taylor loses her job, then she's killed in a car accident. But what really bites is that she can't seem to stay dead. And now her new friends have the ridiculous idea that Betsy is the prophesied vampire queen, and they want her help in overthrowing the most obnoxious power-hungry vampire in five centuries."
Wyndham Werewolves:
The series begins with Derik's Bane.
“Derik's a werewolf with alpha issues—and a body to die for. Sara is the personification of evil. Now, if they could just stop drooling over each other long enough to save the world...”
BOFFO Series:  The series follows the anything but typical FBI Agent Cadence Jones. Cadence’s multiple personalities—including her two “sisters”, Shiro and Adrienne, serve as an invaluable “talent” to the FBI as the heroine sets off on an adventure to bring down the Threefer Killer.
The first book in the series is Me, Myself, and Why?
“Me, Myself, and Why? finds Cadence chasing after a serial killer who inexplicably likes to kill in threes, leaves behind mysterious newspaper clippings, and not a shred of decent forensic evidence. The killer soon starts leaving messages just for Cadence and her sisters; raising suspicion that the villain just may have discovered Cadence’s “talent”! Meanwhile, love blooms in the most unexpected place when Cadence meets her best friend’s gorgeous brother—a romantic development that leaves her best friend unenthused and our heroine second guessing!”
 Fred the Mermaid Trilogy:
Sleeping with the Fishes is the first book in the series.
“Fred is a mermaid. But stop right there. Whatever image you're thinking of right now, forget it. Fred is not blonde. She's not buxom. And she's definitely not perky. In fact, Fred can be downright cranky. And it doesn't help matters that her hair is blue.
Being a mermaid does help Fred when she volunteers at the New England Aquarium. Needless to say, it's there that she gets involved in something fishy. Weird levels of toxins have been found in the local seawater. A gorgeous marine biologist wants her help investigating. So does her merperson ruler, the High Prince of the Black Sea. You'd think it would be easy for a mermaid to get to the bottom of things. Think again...”
The Gorgeous Series:
The series begins with Hello Gorgeous.
“Caitlyn James had one hell of a 21st birthday party—and that's exactly where she woke up—hell. She has been retooled—a la the bionic woman—and now is supposed to work for the government. She has other plans. But when the scientists on the team begin to turn up dead, Caitlyn must give in to her despicable boss and track down the Wolf, a renegade agent suspected of the murders. When she finds him, things don't go quite as anyone (including Caitlyn) planned.”

Both of these authors are great.

If you are looking for fun and snarky reads try Davidson's Undead series.

I've only read one of Stella's books (London for the Holidays) but it was super hot. I plan to read more of her books ASAP.

Wonderful! I just read the prequel for Me,Myself,Why~ "Outta the Bag" by MJD last night. It caught my attention in the quick-witty-random-humor read way that I like a lot. I will hopefully get to Me, Myself, Why soon.
I have read a few of SAP books my favorite by them are the Eververse series.. I am a huge fan on Snow and Arcady, and love that they keep popping up.
