Featured Author Friday

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a fantastic week and have a safe and wonderful weekend!
For our third Featured Author Friday I picked Kallypso Masters and TJ Michaels, both of these ladies write smoking hot stories.  Have you read them yet?~If not, you are missing out! Kallypso just put out her fourth book in her Master's at Arms series a few weeks ago and just became a grandmother~woohoo & congrats again grammy! TJ and a bunch of authors have been equally busy with a cookbook (Check it out free at ).

Something that I admire about both of these amazing women is they are advocates for some causes that are near and dear to my heart.  Kally through her support of the Wounded Warrior Project and her amazing books dealing with issues like PTSD and sexual abuse; giving support to those survivors hope thru her words.   TJ is currently teaming up with a group of other authors for Authors Against Bullying.  If you hop over to her site you can read all about the cause and see a list of other authors that are participating in the blog hop.

If you've read any works by either of these authors, drop us a comment and share which book was your favorite!  Have a smashing weekend and remember to support the troops(no matter what country you are from, support those who serve your country, and don't forget to speak out against bullying if you see it happening; and lastly don't be a bully~as Ellen says "Be kind to one another!"

Kallypso Masters
About: Kallypso Masters writes emotional romance novels with dominant men and the women who bring them to their knees. Sometimes it seems she lives with these Masters at Arms Doms twenty-four/seven—yes, they tend to dominate her life. Often, she’ll wake up with one or more characters waiting by her bedside to share some delicious secret about themselves. It’s a tough job, but she loves every minute of it.
Kally has been writing full-time since May 2011, having quit her “day job” the month before to pursue a full-time writing career. Masters at Arms was her debut novel (published in August 2011) and was followed by Nobody’s Angel in September and Nobody's Hero in December. (These are just the manuscripts she’s allowing to be published to date. Many earlier ones will remain in that box on the shelf where all practice novels should go.)
She lives in rural Kentucky and has been married for almost 29 years to the man who provided her own Happily Ever After. They have two adult children, one rescued dog, and one rescued cat—and now four Doms (Adam, Marc, Damián, and Luke) and a Domme (Grant) have taken up residence in her head.

Nobody’s Angel (#2):
" When Marc rescued Angelina from an abusive Dom at his fetish club, he never imagined she'd upend his safe, controlled life. But his SAR partner, Luke, a widower, thinks Angelina has been sent to him by his dead wife. Marc knows only he can fulfill her sexual needs, but won’t hurt his friend. When the abusive Dom stalks her, she turns to Marc for help and learns a submissive has power too."
Nobody’s Hero (#3):
“Retired Marine Adam Montague has survived many war zones, but can he survive the war Karla Paxton has declared on his heart? Karla fell in love with Adam at 16; nine years later, she's determined to make 50-year-old Adam see her as a woman. But can she submit to his Dominant personality? And will she be able to get him to surrender to her and lay his ghosts to rest?”
Nobody’s Perfect (#4):
“Savannah Gentry, now Savi Baker, escaped the abuse, torture, and degradation forced upon her by a sadistic father for eleven years and has made a safe life for herself and her daughter. When her father threatens her peace of mind--and her daughter's safety--Savi runs to Damian Orlando for protection. Eight years earlier, young Savannah shared one perfect day with Damian that changed both their young lives and resulted in a secret she can no longer hide. But being with Damian reawakens repressed memories and feelings she does want to keep hidden--buried. At Damian's private Masters at Arms Club, she discovers that sexual healing might be achieved through BDSM (Bondage, Dominance/submission, sadomasochism)—specifically SM administered by a loving Service Top named Damian.”

TJ Michaels
About: TJ picked up her first romance novel, a book by Heather Graham, back in 1994. It was love at first page. She thought, “I love this! I can write this, I know I can.” And she sat down and wrote a book full of alpha guys and their kick butt women. That book sat on a shelf while TJ raised her kids and established her career.
One day her son asked, “Hey mom, when are you going to do something with that big book you wrote when I was little?” After cocking her head sideways and giving it some thought, TJ sat down and wrote what became her first published work. She hasn’t looked back, though she does still ask her kids for suggestions.
TJ is now an award-winning author of several romance genres, including paranormal, fantasy, sci-fi and urban fantasy romance. Writing like a madman, TJ hasn’t lost steam. Her mind? Yep, that’s gone, but steam there is a-plenty. A true Taurus, TJ isn’t slowing down and she’s definitely too stubborn to stop when she sees the fence!
No matter the genre TJ is penning, her favorite thing to do is build worlds. To take you somewhere extraordinary. To transport you to a place where you can close your eyes and slip into your fantasy…
Genre: Paranormal, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Urban Fantasy

Loved meeting you at AAD-NOLA in 2012 and can't wait to see you again in Savannah! Thanks for this lovely tribute!

I think Grammas probably should be writing cookbooks rather than about hot Marines with kinky sexual natures, but, well, my grandson will have the coolest Gramma out there, so it's okay. LOL (Oh, but I did write a couple family and church cookbooks in my earlier life, so it's time to get wild and play.)

Thanks for mentioning the Wounded Warrior Project. SO many of my readers are military family members and that organization has done SO much to help them all recover from the aftermath of combat. A project very close to my heart and I encourage everyone to sign up for their Advanced Guard and make monthly contributions. Money well spent.
