Bianca Makes the Big Time

Well, in the publishing industry, getting a "New York" contract is a big deal. I got the contract, but somehow it didn't feel real until I saw the first cover for my upcoming Kensington Brava release, HALF PAST DEAD. The book is an anthology containing two stories - my military paranormal called SIMON SAYS and an historical paranormal by Zoe Archer. Both stories features zombies in some way. Here's the blurb from the back of this gorgeous cover:

Special Forces soldier Simon Blackwell ended his affair with Mariana Daniels three years ago, but he hasn’t stopped protecting her. Mariana has no knowledge of the dark, deadly creatures that lurk in the forest surrounding her clinic, or of the mysterious powers that make Simon the only one who can defeat them. But soon he’ll have no choice but to reveal the truth, and urge her to trust in an explosive passion that never faded….

The book is slated to be out on December 29th of this year. Now I can't wait to see what they come up with for my first solo novel with Brava, ONCE BITTEN, TWICE DEAD, scheduled for release in March 2010.

In other paranormal news, INFERNO is now out in ebook. It's a cross-over vamp/were story with a little fey magic thrown in. There are some very naughty bits in this love story that follows the path of Dante d'Angleterre, a vampire we first meet in another of my paranormal books, LORDS OF THE WERE. In that book, Dante starts out as a bad guy with questionable motivation. We learn more about what makes him tick in INFERNO and are introduced to the werewolf girl who's been sent to spy on him.

It's a real action/adventure kind of tale complete with a vampire ball, selkie shifters who are also Navy SEALs (get it? LOL) and a whole lot of very hot lovin' - some scenes with multiple partners. Hey, what can I say? This is one of the more wicked Bianca D'Arc books. LOL!

If you're interested in any or all of the above, check INFERNO out from Samhain Publishing at MyBookstoreAndMore.

Loving that cover for your upcoming Brava book. My curiosity about Zombie's in romance has me anxious to read the story!

Thanks, Eliza! I can tell you that in my story the zombies are the bady guys. In Zoe's, well... I think maybe the hero is actually a zombie! I can't wait to see how she did that. :)
