Bookmarks!

Good morning to all! I hope that everything is well with you and that you are currently looking forward to Thanksgiving. I love the holidays and getting together with family, although I have to admit there are times when there’s a little too much together time J We usually have at least three Thanksgiving meals spread over the week as well as the unexpected visitors that drop in…not always a pleasant surprise when my house is a mess!

On the writing front, I’ve sent off the outline for the sixth book in the Guardian series. This one is Salvatore’s story, so I hope to hear back soon on whether it’s a go! Until then, I’m finishing up my latest historical I write under the name of Deborah Raleigh. It’s a Christmas story so it’s helping put me in the mood.

To help put you in the mood, I’m offering a bookmark to two of you who tell me what your favorite (or least favorite) part of Thanksgiving is!

Blessings to all,
Alex

Although the food is a big plus. My favorite part is seeing the realitves. We usually have a big gathering of 15 or so. Its fun seeing everyone. It'll be a smaller group this year, but I'm still looking forward to it.

OOH bookmarks... Im so going to enter this.. LOL

Thanksgiving is the holiday i like most during this time of year. Not a X mas person. I just like that its the one day that the family from the eastern seaboard gets together at my grandmothers (or mums house) and drinks, eats and catches up. Since we are all peppered around the country, its hard to get the majority of us together, but I think its mum's Turkey that brings them home every year.
and this year we have three new additions as my uncle got married again and shes bringing her kid, and my cousin bean got engaged and is bringing his lady with him. This should be very interesting.

But if your a sweet wine drinker, try the Polka Dot pink label wine. SOOOO good.

In the past, I always looked forward to Thanksgiving because it was the only time I got to see my grandfather. Now that he past on earlier this month, Thanksgiving just will not be the same. I'm really gonna miss that.

My favorite time is the break I get from school and I can hang with the family. Now especially I want to be with my family because recently we lost our Papa. So overall I love spending time with my family.

Well.... thanksgiving is always around my youngest son's birthday. So around this time I start feeling all my bones creak and my arthritis kicking in! LOL.. Actully he will only be eight, but makes me feel old. So I like Thanksgiving because I remember that God has blessed me with a wonderul family!

My favorite part is the 3 F's , friends, family and food. My least favorite would be the clean up. I hate washing dishes.

My favorite and least favorite is the food. Fav: Because there is so much to choose from. This year we’re gathering at my sisters. With her husbands relatives and ours it’s to be a big 3-ring circus. Least Fav: Cleaning up after the 3-ring circus and trying to divi-up all the extra food. ;-)

For me Thanksgiving is all about family and food and football. When my grandmother was still with us, I always looked forward to her homeade mac-n-cheese and her lemon meriengue pie. I have to work on T-day this year, but knowing that all that good food will be home waiting is what will get me through the day faster!!

My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the time with family. My least favorite part of Thanksgiving is having to do all those dishes after dinner. Even though I help cook I am still the one that ends up doing the dishes every year.
