As AAD NOLA draws near, I'd like to address the matter of the Bookie Awards for all nominees who are ATTENDING the con. For this year's ceremony, we'd like to ask all attending nominees to prepare a 1-2 minute speech in the event you win an award. Remember, your readers nominated YOU in the respective categories, and many of them will likely be present. We all know a few words of thanks go a long way and leave a lasting impression. Let's make this ceremony one to remember.
