Sin Undone!

Hi everyone!

I've been a very bad blogger -- I missed the last couple of months due to a family emergency. Now I have a broken arm, so I need to keep this kind of short, since it takes forever to type a single sentence. Ugh.

But I did want to say that I'm excited -- Sin Undone has released! Unfortunately, the release date overseas is Oct. 1, but in the U.S. and Canada, everyone should have it by tomorrow. This is also the first book of mine to release in audio format. How cool! I'm dying to get a copy just to see how it turned out. :)

So anyway, hope everyone is doing well. Are you getting ready for AAD? I wish I could go, but I couldn't swing it this year. Maybe next...

Dog Days

Although it's still steaming hot here in Missouri I can see the signs of fall coming :( School has started, my sons are headed back to college and while I'll enjoy the peace, I'm sad to think of the empty house and looming winter. On the other hand I'm excited about my two upcoming releases!!

On Aug. 31st I have a novella in Yours for Eternity with the fabulous Hannah Howell and Kaitlin O'Riley. We'll be chatting at Borders.com if you'd like to stop by...we'll be giving away prizes :)

Then on Nov. 30th the next in installment of the Guardians of Eternity series will be hitting the shelves. I'm excited to introduce Tane to my readers...I think you'll like him!!!

In other news I've been working with the fabulous folks at Open Road Media and I'll soon have up a new facebook page as well as having an author video that I can't wait to share with everyone!

Until later...prop up your feet, pour a glass of lemonade and enjoy these last days of summer!!!!!!

Best,

Alex

A glimpse...

You have had a glimpse of me and I of you. The previous post has been taken down...for many reasons. I am not afraid to over share, and my readers have treated me like a friend or family, so naturally I do the same. Time and again you all have expressed to me how much you appreciate how 'real' I am and how connected you feel to me. When I wrote that post I was upset, my mind reeling, my spirit torn to pieces. Perhaps that is a bad time to try and compose clear thoughts and express oneself, perhaps it is the best time.

I am human. I'm just a girl who writes. Writing is now and always will be how I express what is inside of me. Sometimes that is painful and glaring, and as I said, I am not afraid of that. Moreover, I will treasure the responses I got from you. They meant the world to me.

However, in the interests of protecting the child involved...

I'm sure you get my point.

Hugs and Kitties
